Aging is an inevitable natural process which is happening inside us.
Usually we associate aging with wrinkles only but there are many other internal as well external changes in the body which happen with age. Some feel a change in posture with drooping shoulders, difficulty in sitting down with crossed legs, problem in knee bending, immobility in joints, hair loss and greying, early menopause. Some ailments like asthma, heart diseases, high blood pressure, diabetes, insomnia also advent with growing age. Still we can stay young by adopting certain ways and including them in our lifestyle:
Balanced diet
Stress, processed foods and nutrient lacking diets are the main cause of faster aging, skin problems like acne and psoriasis, undelines and bags around the eyes. By eating nutrient-rich food you can help the skin fight disease and damage.
The skin reflects the internal health of a person. A glowing, radiant smooth skin would mean hood health and scaling, puffiness, inflammation would indicate health problems. One can get rid of these problems by consuming a well balanced nutritious diet. The body cells are made up of macronutrients namely fats and proteins and carbohydrates are required to provide energy to these cells. They also need micronutrients to repair damage, stay hydrated, and prevent disease.
Yoga and pranayama
Yoga and Pranayama are extremely beneficial both for the body as well as mind. I don't say that we will never have any of the aging signs but yes with yoga we can certainly delay and prevent premature aging.
Practice Yoga at least thrice a week as Yoga oxygenates your body and skin and tones your muscles. It delays wrinkles and premature hair greying.
By regular practice of yoga and Pranayam, Cortisol and stress levels are reduced, which helps your body to maintain less body fat and improve blood circulation to all our body parts. This provides a glowing skin thus contributing to anti-aging.
